| “Breakfast” relaunches with
Christian Bautista as guest host |
Breakfast
celebrates its fifth year on Studio 23 with a whole new look, a
whole new hosting team, and some very special new features this
Monday, August 7. One of these special features is the addition of a
week-long guest host, which on Breakfast's premiere week is a slot
filled by none other than Asia's Pop Idol, Christian Bautista.
Christian joins the new Breakfast threesome of JC Cuadrado, Patty
Laurel and Atom Araullo all week, from August 7 to 11. And what
should Christian's fans expect from Christian's morning show-hosting
debut?
There’s a feature on Christian's official website in Indonesia,
which shows just how bi g
the Cavite native has become in Asia. His site is in English,
Filipino and Bahasa. Also on tap is Christian's newest music video
"She Could Be", from his sophomore album "Completely" already a hit
in the Philippines and Asia.
Also on hand all this week are Breakfast's visits to UST, fashion
tips about dressing up in vintage and accessorizing, as well as a
how-to-guide on how to dress up guys in a newly-hot preppy look, and
how to cook gourmet but easy-to-prepare pambaon treats.
Get your daily dose of the fortified Breakfast all next week, with
Christian Bautista as guest host only on Studio 23, 6-7:30 a.m.
Congrats
to JC, Atom, Patty, Angela, Ms. Tes, Mark, and the others behind
"Breakfast." Thank you for havin' Christian on board for one week!
Hay, have to wake up really early! Hehehe. Christian doesn't need a
wake-up call, huh. Hmm let's see...

| Christian Bautista shoots “She Could
Be” music video |
Asia’s
Pop Idol, Christian Bautista, packs into his hectic schedule a one-whole
day music video shoot for his third single “She Could Be,” which is,
surprisingly, a non-ballad cut from his internationally-released album
“Completely.”
“This is Christian’s first music
video shot in a studio. His previous music videos done in the
Philippines were all shot outdoors. And since “She Could Be” is of
the pop rock genre, we’ve invited Francis Reyes and Buddy Zabala of
the premiere rock band The Dawn, and Franklin Benitez of Barbie to
play for Christian,” says music video director Treb Monteras. The
young director is the man behind some of th e
music videos of recording artists South Border, Nina, and Sitti. He
also directed the music video of Christian’s recent hit
“Invincible,” which was entirely shot at Subic International
Airport.
“She Could Be” is an upbeat
musical collaboration of A. Roman, Andrew Fromm, and Christopher
Rojas. Andrew is the musical brains behind Christian’s mammoth
international hits “The Way You Look At Me,” and “Everything You
Do.”
In the music video, Christian
animatedly sings about this woman with conflicting yet striking
personalities. Christian gets transported inside a giant television
set, and assumes various characters as he jumps from one channel to
another. There were a total of six set changes in the duration of
the shoot. “For the first time, masaya ang music video natin!” says
Christian.
23-year
old Belgian model, and nursing student Belina Reos plays the love
interest of our pop idol in the music video. Odie Flores is lighting
director. Gian Espiritu of Essensuals Toni & Guy is stylist.
Location is at an old warehouse in Taguig, Rizal.
“She Could Be,” the music
video will soon premiere on Myx Music Channel. It will also be
featured on reformatted Studio 23 “Breakfast” on the week of Aug
7-11. Christian will join the “Breakfast” barkada of JC Cuadrado,
Patty Laurel, and Atom Araullo as guest host.
